Miranda Lambert Stunned the ACM Awards Audience with One of the Most Jaw-Dropping Moments in Recent Memory. During Her Performance of “Little Red Wagon,” She Changed the Lyrics from “I Live in Oklahoma” to “I Got the Hell Out of Oklahoma,” Sending a Bold Message to Her Ex-Husband, Blake Shelton.

Miranda Lambert was nominated for- Female Artist Of The Year and Music Event Of The Year – at the 54th Academy Of Country Music Awards ceremony in Las Vegas on Sunday.

She came up short in both bids, but she still shined bright when she hit the stage to perform a medley of her hits from her storied career.

Dressed in a form-fitting black sequin jumpsuit that hugged her womanly curves, the 35-year old gave a powerful four-plus minute performance to the delight of the crowd.

The country superstar came out of the gate fast with a peppy rendition of Kerosene, from her 2005 second album.

She quickly transitioned to Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’s Gunpowder And Lead, which was her first song to break the top 10 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs back in 2008.

The rowdy crowd then got a dose of hits, Mama’s Broken Heart and White Liar, which led into a playful version of closer, Little Red Wagon, off her Platinum album that debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 in 2014.

Before her performance, Lambert was introduced as the winningest artist in ACM history, with 32 wins, as reported by Rolling Stone.

Up until this year’s nomination, she had won nine consecutive Female Artist Of The Year awards.

She was also nominated for Music Event of the Year this year for her part on Jason Aldean’s track Drowns the Whiskey.

Earlier in the night, Lambert made her red carpet debut with new husband Brendan McLoughlin, whom she married in January after a whirlwind three-month romance.

The hitmaker commanded attention in a neon green gown with a spaghetti strap halter neck that was cinched at the waist and fell to the floor with a small train.

Keeping with her wardrobe carousal, the singer-songwriter also donned a red sequin mini dress with spaghetti straps while the pair took in the ceremony.

Just days ago, the country crooner revealed she plans to hit the road this autumn with an array of female artists for the Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour 2019.

The tour launches September 13 in Uncasville, Connecticut and runs through November 23 in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The list of artists that will join Lambert at various times during the trek are Maren Morris, Elle King, Lambert’s trio Pistol Annies, Tenille Townes, Ashley McBryde and Caylee Hammack.
