🔥DAVID HAYE & GEMMA COLLINS: The moment the jungle turned into a total battlefield!

I’m A Celebrity fans were left open-mouthed by Gemma Collins‘ response on Tuesday night’s episode considering David Haye took a swipe at her looks earlier on in the series.

The boxer and fellow red team member Ashley Roberts took part in the latest Bushtucker Trial, The Wicked Watering Hole, and went up against green team’s Adam Thomas and Craig Charles.

The four celebrities had just 10 minutes to try and find as many golden nuggets in the ground as they could, while tethered to a bungee rope.

The green team were crowned winners, meaning that David and Ashley were the losers, and David wasn’t too happy about it.

Green team member Gemma was the first to reassure him that he didn’t have to worry about not winning – and some fans were confused about her support, considering what he had said about her last week.

David confessed: ‘It’s gonna eat me up for a while.

The GC comforted David after losing the challenge on Tuesday night

‘They tried to get under my skin, and they have, that’s what they should do, and I expect nothing less. I don’t like losing any rounds.’

Before giving him a hug, the GC told him: ‘You’re not a loser, David.’

‘I am a loser,’ he replied.

She continued: ‘Don’t be hard on yourself, tomorrow is another day, dust it off, you’re always a champ, you know that. Love ya.

‘Come on, it’s not the end of the world.’

Many rushed to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their confusion.

‘Gemma I’ve never been a fan of but how sweet was she with David tonight! #ImACeleb.’

‘Gemma is being nice to him even though he’s been an absolute c*** to her! She’s better than me! #imaceleb.’

‘I wouldn’t care Gemma. David needs to be knocked down a peg or two.’

It comes after during Friday’s episode David appeared to make a comment about Gemma’s weight.

‘That’s a lot of hair you’ve got now,’ Craig told the former TOWIE star.

Gemma said: ‘I’ve got very thick hair, haven’t I?’

‘It definitely ain’t thin!’ David chimed in.

Gemma and David haven’t seen eye to eye since the start of the show.

The reality queen furiously took aim at David after she made her arrival in the I’m A Celebrity All Stars camp last week.

She missed out on a place in the main camp after losing a bushtucker trial to Craig, and was quick to vent her fury at the boxer after he insisted she should have been denied water during the challenge.

While completing the eating task, Gemma had asked whether she could have a drink, but David declared she shouldn’t until she finished the dish.

It was a comment that didn’t sit well with Gemma, and she later branded David ‘evil’ to her fellow campmates, before launching into a gossip about claims he’d been involved in ‘throuples’ with other women.

David and his partner Sian Osborne are known to regularly spend time in a ‘throuple’, with the pair previously linked to Saturdays star Una Healy and actress Helen Flanagan.

The sportsman sparked the row with Gemma while she was chowing down on eight Critter Canapes which were made out of blended ant eggs on a cracker.

As she asked: ‘They’re very dry, can you have a drink?’ David cut in and said: ‘I didn’t think you was allowed water until you’d finished.

‘Forget about the rules, rules are the rules.’

Gemma then shared her upset at David in the following episode, telling Adam Thomas: ‘I just can’t get over that David Haye – instead of thinking, ”go on girl” – actually refused me water. That’s evil.’

While Adam said ‘shouldn’t dwell on it,’ Gemma hit back: ‘I can’t get over it.’

Adam tried to defend David, with Gemma noting that ‘his background was completely different to theirs.’

But later that day, Gemma began to gossip about David’s personal life, asking Adam: ‘He wants to win, he’s in it to win it… do you think all that throuple stuff is true?’

Stunned, Adam replied: ‘What, him and two girls? You’re lying!’ while Gemma added: ‘Honey, it’s everywhere in the press! He’s in a permanent throuple, the geezer.’

Adam burst into laughter while Beverley Callard asked: ‘Did you know this was a thing?’

‘Are you sure that’s the right word for it, throuple?’ the Waterloo Road star said.

Gemma confidently added: ‘Yes! Do you think he denies them water?’

While Gemma has been in a relationship with Sian since 2020, the pair were previously rumoured to be involved in a three-way romance with Una, which she denied, saying she only had a ‘lovely relationship’ with the boxer.

The pair were also linked to actress Helen, who also denied she was in a throuple but confessed she ‘fell in love’ with David.

In 2023, David’s ‘throuple’ pal Mica Jova hit out at Una for ‘trying to put a bad light’ on David and Sian.

In an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail, Mica slammed Irish singer Una for speaking out against them.

She said: ‘David is one of the most gorgeous souls out there and Sian is a sweetheart.

‘They are such good people so I really don’t understand why Una Healy is trying to put a bad light on those two.’
