Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen has sparked fresh concern among fans after sharing a new video from Ravenseat Farm, with many questioning whether her noticeably thinner frame could be linked to an undisclosed health issue.
The 50-year-old TV shepherdess, adored for her down-to-earth lifestyle and resilience in the Yorkshire Dales, appeared on Instagram this week tending to her sheep alongside several of her children. Smiling to the camera, she joked: “Morning, and here’s another guaranteed way to lose friends – sorting these out!” before showing her kids stepping in as “little helpers” during the Bank Holiday.
While Amanda seemed in good spirits, followers quickly picked up on her appearance. One fan asked bluntly: “Amanda looks so unwell – is she ill?” Another worried follower wrote: “I hope she’s okay and looking after herself, she seems far too thin.” A third added: “Her weight loss is alarming, I just pray it’s not something serious.”

Amanda and ex-husband Clive shocked viewers in 2022 when they announced their separation after more than 20 years together. Although they continue to co-parent and appear on spin-off series Our Farm Next Door, Clive later admitted his “anger” and “constant fighting” had driven Amanda away. After the split, she briefly dated businessman Robert Davies, but that relationship ended last year.
Now, as Amanda throws herself back into farm duties, fans are pleading for her to put her own health first. With speculation mounting over whether illness could explain her dramatic weight loss, supporters say they simply want reassurance that their favourite shepherdess is truly okay.
