CARSON Daly has revealed he has spent the festive season struck down with a nasty illness, forcing him to miss his family vacation.
The Voice host took to Instagram to share that “things got odd” while he was home alone recovering.
Sharing a meme to his Stories, he wrote: “When you missed the entire family vacation & was home alone with a nasty flu. Things got odd.”
Carson is married to Siri Pinter and shares four children with the beauty; Jackson and daughters Etta, London and Goldie.
Residing in a $6.5million home with a pool, luxury kitchen, and multiple bedrooms and dining areas; Carson’s Christmas hibernation abode isn’t too shabby.
However, he didn’t reveal where the family’s vacation destination is.

Carson and Siri have been married since 2015 but have been together for two decades, first meeting in 2002 before getting together three years later.
“We realized we were in love and it wasn’t just an office romance,” Carson once said to Elle.
Although Siri herself isn’t an actress, she is the daughter of Mark Pinter, a daytime soap opera star who has appeared in Love of Life, Guiding Light As The World Turns, Loving and All My Children.
The couple keep their family life fairly private, with Carson rarely sharing details to his social media.
However, one thing Carson has revealed about his relationship is that he and Siri have a “sleep divorce”.
He previously told Insider that this arrangement was “the best thing that happened to his marriage.”

A “sleep divorce” means the couple sleeps in different beds in their $6.5million home, which sits on approximately two acres of land.
The arrangement started when Siri was pregnant with their fourth child and the couple wasn’t getting their best sleep while sharing a bed.
“We woke up and shook hands like, ‘I love you, but it’s time to sleep divorce. It’ll be the best thing for all of us,” Carson told People.
Insider reported that Carson had been diagnosed with sleep apnoea, which can cause loud snoring.
