Vogue Williams reveals the real reason for Martin Kemp’s lack of trials on I’m A Celebrity as she addresses the mysterious knee injury she sustained from horror jungle fall
Vogue Williams has claimed Martin Kemp was exempt from a number of I’m A Celebrity trials as she shared the true story behind her mysterious knee injury.
The Irish presenter, 40, was booted from the ITV jungle show on Monday night and has since adjusted to life outside camp.
On Wednesday night, Vogue took to her official Instagram account where she went live to answer fans’ I’m A Celebrity questions.
During the Q&A, from her luxurious bedroom at the five-star Marriott Hotel in Surfer’s Paradise, Vogue claimed Martin Kemp was secretly exempt from a selection of Bushtucker trials.
It comes a day after his own son, presenter Roman, poked fun at his father’s lack of participation when it came to the challenges.
Vogue told fans: ‘Martin did want to do the trials, but Martin was exempt from some.

Vogue told fans during an Instagram live on Wednesday: ‘Martin did want to do the trials, but Martin was exempt from some’
‘And I think everybody wanted to do the trials, which was probably unusual for a year.’
She added: ‘I think that because Martin is a bit quieter he was kinda happy to let everybody else go ahead.
‘Martin’s sound, such a nice guy. He’s really, really lovely.’
The Daily Mail has approached ITV for comment.
It’s not unusual for celebrities to be deemed exempt from trials, with factors such as a star’s medical history or their age playing a key part in the determination.
During Wednesday’s episode, fans flooded social media with comments as Jack Osbourne took on the latest trial.
‘Another day another trial Martin isn’t doing’;
‘Is Martin wearing the cloak of invisibility or something like’;

‘Jacks not been out for a while Martin hadn’t been out AT ALL.’
Elsewhere, Vogue explained how she had sustained her mysterious knee injury in camp after viewers spotted her wearing a bandage on her right knee.
She explained: ‘My knee, it’s so annoying and it’s so stupid and it’s completely my fault.
‘So there is loads of bridges in the jungle where you can cross to different areas.
‘You walk so long in the jungle by the way, you’re like up and down like a yo-yo and I think I’m fitter now than when I went in.’
Vogue continued: ‘So there’s all these bridges and you’re not doing much in there and you’re making up games.

‘So one of the games was let’s try and beat our time to cross the bridge, they’re quite bouncy, so I ran to cross the bridge and I fell and completely busted my knee.
‘It was really painful and a bit gross so the medic came straight away because I was on my way to a trial and he fixed me up and then I went to do the trial.
‘It’s just a bit of an annoying cut because it’s really stingy and I hope it doesn’t scar.’
Ant McPartlin previously said of Vogue’s accident: ‘She was strapped down. She fell over… she was trying to run as fast as she could over the bridge and fell.’
