TV favorites Kelvin and Liz Fletcher made a special “exclusive announcement” as they appeared on morning television, broadcasting straight from their lively farm. Already in the spotlight with their own hit series, the couple is now set to offer fans an even deeper glimpse into their farm life, welcoming the Lorraine show for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look.
Joining Lorraine Kelly after a chaotic school run on Thursday morning (January 16), Kelvin humorously admitted: “I didn’t exactly feel like I was living the dream this morning—when no one would listen! And I’m talking about the kids, not the animals. The animals are usually the best behaved, to be honest.”
Reflecting on Kelvin’s unexpected career shift, Lorraine couldn’t help but comment: “It’s incredible how life turns out. You spent years on Emmerdale, dazzled us on Strictly, and were all set for Hollywood—auditions lined up, doors opening in Los Angeles… and then COVID hit. Now, instead of chasing the Hollywood dream, you’re running a farm! You couldn’t make this up, could you?”
Lorraine chimed in with: “And you’ve got a bit of an announcement for us which we are all very excited about…” To which Liz happily shared the news live on-air, confirming that: “Over the next few weeks and months we’re going to be sharing with you and the viewers a bit of an exclusive insight into our life on the farm. It’s going to be an exciting few months with you guys.”
Discussing their kids’ contributions to farm life, Liz remarked: “The kids are all at different ages so Marnie and Milo are definitely a help, the twins are an absolute liability.”, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Kelvin chipped in: “I think the best thing about having the kids for me is their understanding of the responsibility you have with a farm and the privilege it is. Understanding where our food comes from the hard work, the ups and downs.”
