PRINCE WILLIAM’S BRUTAL 4-WORD REMARK TO PRINCE HARRY WHEN HE JOINED ETON — AND IT’S STILL BEING TALKED ABOUT YEARS LATER 😱👑 A resurfaced royal anecdote has reignited fascination over the early relationship between Prince William and Prince Harry, after reports emerged of a blunt four-word comment allegedly made when Harry first joined Eton College. The remark, described by some observers as sharp and unexpectedly cold in tone, is once again being dissected by royal watchers looking for clues about the brothers’ long-standing tension. While the exact context remains the subject of debate and recollection, the story has fuelled renewed discussion about how their dynamic began to shift even in their school years. Social media users have quickly revived the moment, turning it into another flashpoint in the ongoing public narrative around the royal siblings.

Prince William and Prince Harry both attended Eton College in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Prince Harry previously revealed a brutal four-word remark that Prince William said to him when he joined him at Eton College. William had joined the prestigious school three years before his younger brother, and was already settled into life as a boarder when Harry started in 1998.

The once-close brothers have endured a fractured relationship for many years, especially since Harry’s decision to step back from royal life in 2020. William and Harry are no longer on speaking terms, and the timing of their last conversation is unknown.

Writing in his bombshell 2023 memoir, titled Spare, Harry shared an insight into their relationship growing up, with William thought not to have been happy about his younger sibling joining him at his school.

Harry wrote: “Willy told me to pretend I didn’t know him.”

He then added that William told him, “‘You don’t know me, Harold’,” before adding, “‘And I don’t know you’.”

With the conversion thought to have coincided with Harry’s entry to Eton in 1998, the brothers would have been aged 16 and 13.

Kensington Palace made a long-awaited announcement today, revealing that Prince George will be following in the footsteps of his father and uncle by joining Eton College this autumn.
