Coronation Streetâs Will Driscoll accuses Bethany of touching him inappropriately this week, after she attempts to relate to him with her own experience of grooming! Could his allegation have huge consequences for both him and Bethany?
After his dad breaks the news to him that the police have released Megan on bail, nervous Will admits to Tim that heâs constantly looking over his shoulder, and canât relax for fear that Megan will come after him.
But the Driscolls soon have more cause for concern when a phone call from the school reveals that he hasnât turned up for an important dayâŚ
âWillâs teacher informs panicked Ben that his son was a no-show for his PE exam,â says our Weatherfield insider. âWill loves his sport, so this is yet another sign to the Driscolls that heâs seriously struggling in the wake of Meganâs grooming.
âHe could be dealing with some complex trauma surrounding school and athletics, since thatâs where the relationship began. He has a long road to recovery ahead of himâŚâ
As the Driscolls search for their missing boy, itâs Bethany who comes across anxious Will looking glum in the precinct park.
Joining the lonely teenager on a bench, Bethany bravely opens up about her own experience of being groomed â but as she reaches out and touches Willâs hand in a gesture of kindness, he explodes with rage and accuses her of inappropriate behaviour!
âWill has already found someone who understands what heâs been through in Tim,â notes our source. âBethany thinks that telling him about how she was exploited by her older boyfriend Nathan as a teen will provide more support, but it doesnât go to plan.
âTraumatised Will gets totally the wrong end of the stick and blows up at baffled Bethany. His accusation could have serious consequences if itâs taken any further!â
Will isnât the only child in the Driscoll family causing trouble this week either. When Ben tries to book a fun family holiday to his loved ones together and take their minds off their hardships, his plans are ground to a halt when little Susie creates some dramaâŚ
âSusie is no wallflower, but she takes her fierce loyalty to the family a little bit too far and ends up causing more issues for them!â reveals our insider. âThe Driscolls deserve a break, but it doesnât look as though theyâre going to get it with more drama popping up around every cornerâŚâ
With the Driscoll familyâs burdens becoming almost too much to bear, can the clan find a way to pull together? Or is this just the beginning of their ordeal, now that evil Megan is roaming the streets once again?
