🚔BETHANY PLATT IN PERIL: A DEVASTATING ACCUSATION SHAKES THE COBBLES

Coronation Street’s Will Driscoll accuses Bethany of touching him inappropriately this week, after she attempts to relate to him with her own experience of grooming! Could his allegation have huge consequences for both him and Bethany?

After his dad breaks the news to him that the police have released Megan on bail, nervous Will admits to Tim that he’s constantly looking over his shoulder, and can’t relax for fear that Megan will come after him.

But the Driscolls soon have more cause for concern when a phone call from the school reveals that he hasn’t turned up for an important day…

“Will’s teacher informs panicked Ben that his son was a no-show for his PE exam,” says our Weatherfield insider. “Will loves his sport, so this is yet another sign to the Driscolls that he’s seriously struggling in the wake of Megan’s grooming.

“He could be dealing with some complex trauma surrounding school and athletics, since that’s where the relationship began. He has a long road to recovery ahead of him…”

As the Driscolls search for their missing boy, it’s Bethany who comes across anxious Will looking glum in the precinct park.

Joining the lonely teenager on a bench, Bethany bravely opens up about her own experience of being groomed – but as she reaches out and touches Will’s hand in a gesture of kindness, he explodes with rage and accuses her of inappropriate behaviour!

“Will has already found someone who understands what he’s been through in Tim,” notes our source. “Bethany thinks that telling him about how she was exploited by her older boyfriend Nathan as a teen will provide more support, but it doesn’t go to plan.

“Traumatised Will gets totally the wrong end of the stick and blows up at baffled Bethany. His accusation could have serious consequences if it’s taken any further!”

Will isn’t the only child in the Driscoll family causing trouble this week either. When Ben tries to book a fun family holiday to his loved ones together and take their minds off their hardships, his plans are ground to a halt when little Susie creates some drama…

“Susie is no wallflower, but she takes her fierce loyalty to the family a little bit too far and ends up causing more issues for them!” reveals our insider. “The Driscolls deserve a break, but it doesn’t look as though they’re going to get it with more drama popping up around every corner…”

With the Driscoll family’s burdens becoming almost too much to bear, can the clan find a way to pull together? Or is this just the beginning of their ordeal, now that evil Megan is roaming the streets once again?
