Whatâs wrong with Coronation Streetâs Sarah ârevealedâ in new âhealth scareâ
Coronation Street fans are concerned for Sarah Plattâs health, predicting a physical or mental health related storyline is causing her concerning behaviour on the ITV soap
Sarah Platt has left Coronation Street fans wondering what is wrong with her after some concerning behaviour.
The character has been jumpy, lashing out and she got drunk this week. Sheâs also been secretive with Gary Windass, covering for him but also he seems to be protective of her.
They are both sparking suspicion about something they are possibly hiding. Fans are now convinced they have rumbled a health scare that could explain Sarahâs behaviour.
Sarah was attacked at the Platt house recently, and she has no idea Jodie Ramsey was her attacker. She was hospitalised after being hit over the head and left for dead,
This attack could easily have sparked some trauma for her, and so itâs understandable that she might be on edge. But some fans are wondering if itâs a little more than being spooked.
The key theory is that Sarah may have sustained a physical and undetected injury that might be causing her antics. Taking to social media, one fan said: âCould be a delayed effect from the head trauma.â
Another agreed: âSomething to do with the blow she to her head?â A third fan said: âSarah has been acting really strange ever since she got hit in the head by Jodie.â
âSheâs lashing out so she might be suffering with PTSD or got some sort of head condition which nobody knows about.â A final theory read: âA blood clot.â On the PTSD suggestion, other fans wondered if we would see a mental health storyline with Sarah.
They questioned if she could be experiencing trauma or PTSD from the attack, or maybe the soap might revisit her mental breakdown from years earlier. A fan posted online: âI think she is having another breakdown.â
A further fan posted: âTheyâre going into a ptsd/mental health storyline with Sarah. I doubt she killed Theo. Sheâs already been at the centre of a big murder story,â
Another fan commented: âTheyâre probably doing a ptsd storyline like they did with Glenda after the pub robbery but will no doubt end the same way where she could be miraculously healed and never mention it again after a week.â A final post read: âSarah needs to see someone about her ptsd.â
It follows fans trying to figure out if Sarah and Gary were covering something up together. Fans wondered if they had slept together the night Theo died, while another theory suggested one of them was Theoâs killer, and the other saw them do it.
