Channel 4 has officially premiered “Trespasses”, a four-part period drama adapted from Louise Kennedy’s acclaimed novel of the same name. Set in 1975 at the height of Northern Ireland’s Troubles, the series follows Cushla, a young Catholic schoolteacher whose life becomes dangerously complicated when she embarks on an illicit relationship that defies political, religious and social boundaries. With its blend of romance, politics and raw emotion, the drama has quickly become one of Channel 4’s most talked-about releases of the year.
Led by Lola Petticrew as Cushla, the cast delivers intense and emotionally layered performances.
