The beloved character has been battling his own personal demons recently after he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Initially, he only confided in granddaughter Sarah Sugden, but he told his wife Moira in Monday’s emotional episode.
Today’s episode began with Cain informing Sarah that he had told Moira about his diagnosis. Before that, he was seemingly close to telling Kyle and Isaac about his health, but he relented for the time being.
He did, however, inform Caleb, Sam, Belle and Chas quickly, with the room left stunned. Moira, meanwhile, met with Kim Tate as she remained behind bars, and agreed to sell her stake in Butler’s Farm.
Kim thought Moira was hiding something, and didn’t agree to the deal. Moira called her back, and told Kim about Cain’s diagnosis. Feeling sympathetic for Moira and her plight, she eventually agreed to the deal.
