Caitlin Clark impressed with her shooting and playmaking in her Team USA debut against Senegal on Wednesday. The Indiana Fever star scored 17 points on 4-of-5 shooting and dished out 12 assists to lead the Americans to a 110-46 victory.

Clark made history with her performance, as her assist tally was the second-most in a single game in the history of the qualifying tournament. Only Siyu Wang of China had more with her 15 assists against France in 2022.

Sure enough, Clark had plenty of memorable assists during the game. One such dime occurred in the third quarter when the Fever star connected with Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese for a tough bucket.

However, there was another pass from Clark that had fans talking. With 4:40 remaining in the second quarter of the contest, the Fever guard found Kiki Iriafen under the basket and quickly delivered the ball to her for an easy layup.

A slow-motion version of the pass has since emerged. Obviously, fans couldn’t help but be impressed by Clark’s assist.

“When other players are double teamed, triple teamed, blitzed, or picked up full court, the fold like a chair, Caitlin Clark thrives in this environment, the WNBA has conditioned her for these scenarios,” a commenter wrote.

Another supporter shared, “CC knew where that ball was going before she even caught it.”

“Only CC can do it!” a hyped follower exclaimed. Another one stated, “The fluidity of that play is great. Kiki k ew the CC bullet was coming and was ready!”

“Best assist of the game,” a sixth poster declared.

It will be interesting to see if Clark can deliver more highlight passes throughout the tournament. However, there’s no denying that the former Iowa Hawkeyes star has shown everyone that she’s one of the best playmakers in women’s basketball today.
