Pete Wicks has officially revealed the big news that he and Sam Thompson have been hinting at all week on their Staying Relevant podcast. The pair made a thrilling announcement while skydiving together — they will be performing live at London’s O2 Arena on September 19, 2025. However, fans will need to act fast, as it will be a one-night-only event.
To make the moment even more unforgettable, I’m A Celebrity winner Sam and Strictly Come Dancing star Pete jumped out of a plane and landed right outside the iconic venue to break the news.
In a clip shared on social media, Sam, as ever, appeared to be loving every moment of the Tandem dive, whereas est pal Pete, seemed a little less enthused, in his own trademark style.
In the clip, Pete can be heard asking Sam what the point of travelling there was if their show wasn’t until September. But Sam explained that they did so to visit the arena and see what it looked like ahead of their biggest gig to date after previously going on tour with their podcast.
Alongside the clip on Staying Relevant’s Instagram page, the caption read: “The world’s worst-kept secret is out… On Friday 19th September 2025, Staying Relevant takes on The O2. One night only, and we MEAN it.

Pete shared the video to his Instagram Story and said: “It’s official! We’re doing ‘ONE NIGHT ONLY’ at the 02! @stayingrelevantpodcast.” Sam also shared the post and said: “We’re doing the 02 baby!!!!! Let’s go!!!!!!”
