The Red Clay Strays have done it again. At Sunday night’s 61st Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, the Mobile, Alabama band took home the award for Group of the Year — their second career ACM win, following their 2025 New Duo or Group of the Year victory.

To mark the occasion, the band delivered one of the night’s most memorable performances, taking to the stage to perform their latest single Demons In Your Choir backed by a full gospel choir. Rolling Stone called it a performance that showed exactly why they were worthy of the win.

From Mobile To Madison Square Garden

It has been quite a journey for The Red Clay Strays. The band first announced themselves to the world with their 2022 RIAA Gold-certified debut Moment of Truth, before breaking through on a massive scale with 2024’s Made By These Moments — a record that earned them 3x RIAA Platinum certification, a No.1 hit single with Wondering Why, and a growing list of accolades including the Americana Music Honors & Awards’ 2024 Emerging Artist of the Year and the CMA Awards’ 2025 Vocal Group of the Year.

Now, with their third album on the horizon, the momentum shows no sign of slowing.
